Each time you snap a picture, you're capturing a moment in reality that is never going to happen again. That moment in life where everything stands still. That split second you will never experience again. You're not creating a picture, you're only documenting it.
When looking through the viewfinder, imagine each shot as if it was the last thing you'll ever see. You were given the gift of sight, there are people out there who are born without it. Your eyes are the key to the world, open them and take it in.
